Wealthy J.W. Grant hires Henry Fardan, Jake Sharp, Hans Ehrengard, and Bill Dolworth, each a specialist in his own field, to go into Mexico to bring back his wife, who has been kidnapped by the revolutionary Raza. Fardan and Dolworth, old comrades of Raza’s, know both the territory and their foe, but a surprise awaits when they locate the captive Mrs. Grant.

In a mission in China in 1935, Agatha Andrews is a rigid missionary beset by Mongolian bandits led by Warlord chief Tunga Khan. With her are her assistant Jane Argent, staff members Emma Clark, Miss Russell and Miss Binns, head of the British mission, Charles Pather, a teacher at the mission and his pregnant wife Florrie. When Dr. D.R. Cartwright arrives, she agrees to sacrifice herself to the Tunga Khan in exchange for his letting the ladies go free.

Orphaned Mary Clancy is sent by her wealthy Uncle George to St. Francis Academy, a Catholic girls boarding school and convent. He has sent her there to straighten her out as she is rebellious (among other things, she is a heavy smoker), and is always carrying out her dubious but “scathingly brilliant ideas”. At St. Francis, she meets fellow student Rachel Devery, recently transferred from New Trends Progressive School. Rachel is a follower, Mary her leader. The two continually lead other students astray, especially Mary’s cousin, her Uncle George’s daughter, Marvel-Ann. They also butt heads with the school’s equally strong willed Mother Superior. Mary and Rachel’s antics bring them close to the verge of expulsion, but the Mother Superior feels she needs to be part of Mary’s salvation as Mary’s primary alternative, living with her womanizing Uncle George, is not even an option in the Mother Superior’s view. Ultimately, Mary’s inner curiosity and keen observances of life around her, supported unwittingly by the Mother Superior and the other Sisters, bring her to a turning point in her view of life at St. Francis, one at odds with her best friend.

Harry Dean has a plan to pull off a major robbery and needs Nicole as a gambit and windowdressing. He outlines his ideas about his perfect crime in a dream sequence and then meets Nicole, and nothing goes quite right again.

A couple with a young son arrive in the town of Laredo, just as the five richest men of the area, are settling down to play the biggest game of poker of the year. When the wife disappears, the husband, after watching a few hands, joins in the game, only to lose most of the families savings. As the wife returns, he finds that he has dealt himself a winning hand, but does not have the cash to continue. In the following argument, he collapses, and his wife has no choice, but to continue with his hand, in order to win back their money, the only problem being, she can’t play poker.

A sea cruise goes bad when a crash landing on a tropical island subjects the crew to an army that wants to take over the world. While the crew tries to get out alive, Godzilla takes on a giant crab that inhabits the waters and can only be kept away by the juice of a berry that grows on the island.

When a bandit leader wants to build a church in memory of his dead sons, he raids three Mexican villages and kidnaps all the men for labour. One of these men is Chico, formerly of the original Magnificent Seven. His wife Petra immediately sets out to look for Chris and Vin, the other surviving members of the Seven. Chris recruits four others (a playboy, an avenger, a highwayman and an orphan) to reform the Seven, once again defending farmers from their oppressors.

Charles Bonnet, the latest in a long line of master art forgers, loans one of his best works, a faux Cellini Venus, to a Paris museum despite his daughter Nicole’s objections. Later, Nicole surprises a tuxedo-clad burglar in her father’s workshop. She can’t call the police because her father’s hobby might be discovered, so she ends up driving the man—Simon Dermott—back to his hotel. Dermott is actually an inspector who is gathering evidence against Bonnet, but his attraction to Nicole complicates the assignment. Nicole learns that the museum plans to conduct a test on the Venus for insurance purposes, which she knows will expose the statue as a fake. To save her father from jail, she asks Simon to steal it, unaware of his true identity. Simon, intrigued by the challenge and now smitten with Miss Bonnet, agrees to the proposal.
